Founded by author and creative entrepreneur Philana Marie Boles, P. Marie Talent is a talent development and creative workshop home for kids, teens, and young adults. Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio (with satellite offices in Los Angeles, California and New York City) our talent is nationwide.

Inspired by Sylvia Golledge's famed "Lucie Clayton Charm Academy" and Jacobson Department Store's      "J. Board" (in which she was a selected member and modeled for), Philana Marie structures P. Marie Talent's curriculum around on character, confidence, poise, professionalism, and teamwork in a fun and nurturing workshop atmosphere.

We strive to build solid pre-professional foundations before assisting with the launch of opportunities for screen and stage acting, print modeling, fashion shows, dance, and creative writing.

A native of Ohio, while growing up, Philana Marie Boles began writing and producing stage-plays and musicals for her high school alma mater (St. Ursula Academy) and was a national award winning recipient before entering college.

She earned a BFA in Creative Writing and Theater from Bowling Green State University where she studied under talent, acting, and leadership scholarships. She then lived in New York City and Southampton NY for twelve years where she worked for Glamour Magazine, Spike Lee's 40 Acres & a Mule Filmworks, and as an artist publicist and brand consultant.

Philana's novels have been published by major publishers such as Random House, Viking, and HarperCollins. Fan letters from 'tween aged kids for her most successful novel, Little Divas, moved her to tears of laughter and joy and inspired her to focus on youth development for P. Marie Talent.

With a mantra that "every young star deserves to shine," her dream was originally to bridge the gap for youth from Ohio into professional arts careers at the national level. Her talent roster has grown nationwide.

In addition to Workshops, P. Marie Talent presents shows and events--such as "A Conversation With Misty" featuring American Ballet Theater's Misty Copeland--and numerous other fashion events and productions designed to inspire and entertain young stars of tomorrow.
